Alisha M.’s Success Story

Problem: Alisha needed a tutor for her two sons. They were both freshmen in high school and needed immediate assistance with English/ Language Arts. The young men were writing essays and evaluating literature. The course did provide challenges with her students. 

Solution: Alisha contacted Obsidian’s Pen for assistance and scheduled sessions for her children. They both received one-on-one instruction as well as small groups. The tutor also developed supplemental lessons that aligned with the student’s assignments. After the sessions, Alisha reported that both of her son’s grades grew from 70% to 90%.
